ALOHA VILLAS – LOMBOK

Corporate Design _ Corporate Communication

Aloha Villas in Kuta on the island of Lombok creates an incomparable lifestyle in a unique location: For their real estate development “Aloha Villas - Lombok”, the client wanted an appearance that would combine the free lifestyle of the surfing and natural paradise of Kuta with the exclusive architecture of the small villa complex.

The idea behind this project is to create a place of longing at the other end of the world - relax, surf, enjoy and escape the European winter. The comfort of home without having to take on the day-today obligations - who wouldn’t want that?

The briefing consisted of the naming and the desire to develop a picture mark that would show the species of plants that are widespread there Frangipani [Plumeria] in the form of a flower. In addition, the strict architecture of the cube houses, surrounded by the green oasis of a private garden, provided a corresponding aesthetic.

During the design development (partly shown above), the flower was constructed in different variants and image and color concepts were tried out that set different accents. Both the architectural and a local, exotic component played a role in the selection of the typography.

The customers opted for the “Garden” design route. Here, the strict illustration of the blossom is combined with the font “Teen”, whose duct is reminiscent of bamboo. The primary color palette consists of rich green and concrete gray. The secondary color palette for the communication media is based on the colors of the local environment and the materials used in the buildings.
